HKUP's new Queer Asia series was launched June 23 with series editors joined by Travis Kong (HKU Sociology) and Yau Ching (Cultural Studies, Lingnan) to discuss challenges and opportunities as the series develops cutting-edge manuscripts analysing queer histories and non-normative sexualities in Asia.

The first book in the series, Helen Leung's Undercurrents, will be released in October, with more titles coming in Spring 2009.
